Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

Psychotherapy, which is also called "talk therapy",  is a type of mental health treatment where you discuss your beliefs, feelings, values, and behaviors with a trained therapist. Typically, the goal of talk therapy is to improve your overall well-being and equip you with the skills to live a rich, full, and meaningful life. There are many different types of psychotherapy, and our psychologists can adapt their styles to meet your specific needs. Some therapies, called evidence-based psychotherapies (EBPs), are structured treatments that have been shown through research to be effective in improving a particular mental health condition. Our psychologists will try to incorporate EBPs into your work together whenever possible. Therapy sessions tend to be weekly for 45-55 minutes. You may have assignments to complete between sessions to help you apply what you learned into your daily life. We provide psychotherapy over telehealth to anyone 18 years of age or older.
