Relationship Therapy
Relationship therapy is similar to couple counseling in that you are trying to improve a particular relationship. However, the other person does not have to be a romantic partner. You may want to improve your relationship with an ex-partner, a co-worker, friend, or family member. Common goals for relationship therapy include wanting to learn better ways to co-parent, resolve a current conflict between you and another person, or process an unresolved conflict that occurred in the past. Both people will need to be willing and able to join the sessions. You may have assignments to complete between sessions to help you apply what you learned into your daily life.
